We value honest communication, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional work that meets our clients' budgets and expectations.</p><p>We are currently looking for a skilled, versatile, and autonomous <b><strong>Residential Carpenter / Charpentier-Menuisier</strong></b> to join our growing team.</p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Execute a wide range of residential renovation and structural modification projects (framing, finishing, layout modifications, and repairs).</li><li>Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications.</li><li>Install framing, drywall backing, subflooring, interior trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and exterior elements as required.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and Maja Construction's quality guidelines.</li><li>Work independently on assigned tasks or collaborate effectively with crew members, subcontractors, and project leads.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Requirements & Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li><b><strong>Experience:</strong></b> Proven experience as a carpenter in residential remodeling and structural renovation.</li><li><b><strong>Autonomy:</strong></b> Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as effectively within a team environment.</li><li><b><strong>Mobility:</strong></b> Must possess a valid driver's license and <b><strong>own a personal vehicle/car</strong></b> to travel to various job sites across the Greater Montreal Area.</li><li><b><strong>Skills:</strong></b> Proficiency with standard hand and power tools; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li><b><strong>Language:</strong></b> Functional communication skills in French and/or English.</li></ul><p><b><strong>What We Offer</strong></b></p><ul><li><b><strong>Competitive Salary:</strong></b> Based on experience and skill level.</li><li><b><strong>Steady Work:</strong></b> Dynamic and varied residential projects across Montreal.</li><li><b><strong>Work Environment:</strong></b> A respectful, reliable, and professional team culture centered on honesty, quality, and mutual trust.</li></ul></div></div>- Location Montréal, QC
