Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines. Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products. Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces. Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Replace parts as required. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.- Location 2201 Keating Cross RdSaanichton, BCV8M 2A5
