Urbacity Design Build is looking for an *experienced Carpenter* to join our team. We build *renovations, additions, and custom homes *and we?re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right. *WHAT YOU?LL DO* * Frame, build, install and finish * Read and interpret plans and drawings * Complete carpentry work independently and to a high standard * Bring practical solutions to challenges on the job * Work alongside our in-house team and skilled trades * Take ownership of your work from start to finish * Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail * Help keep projects moving and deliver quality work *WHAT WE?RE LOOKING FOR* * Several years of hands-on residential carpentry experience * Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work * Confident reading plans and solving problems on site * Experience with a variety of residential construction and finishing work * Reliable transportation to and from job sites * A strong work ethic and pride in the quality of your work *WHAT YOU GET* *Good work, good people, and plenty of opportunity to grow. * * Competitive wages based on experience * Work that keeps things interesting, with different projects, tasks, and challenges * A respectful, collaborative team environment * Opportunities to build new skills and grow with the company * The chance to take on more responsibility over time * Work that allows you to see the project through from start to finish If you?re an experienced carpenter who wants to do quality work with a team that appreciates it, we?d like to meet you.
