You?ll be a vital part of maintaining our financial health, supporting compliance, and contributing to our organizational success with energy and precision. *Responsibilities* * Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. * Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data. * Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions with attention to detail. * Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify financial integrity in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). * Assist with governmental and non-profit accounting practices, including tax reporting and compliance requirements. * Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports that communicate organizational financial health clearly. * Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, supporting audit readiness and internal controls. * Provide front desk support by supervising visitor access and managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism *Requirements* * Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; familiarity with Quicken is a plus. * Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. * Knowledge of governmental and non-profit accounting standards along with GAAP compliance. * Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately. * Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy. * Excellent communication skills?both verbal and written?along with professional phone etiquette * Experience with payroll processing and tax-related financial tasks is highly desirable. * Strong grasp of financial concepts such as account reconciliation, budget management, and technical accounting practices.
